Prayer is not a self-help trick. It is a way of bringing your real life into God’s presence.
Jesus invites believers into simple routines:
- breathe slowly and name what you are feeling
- speak to God with honesty
- listen for the next faithful move
When fear dominates, our thoughts repeat, “I need to fix this alone.”
Prayer interrupts that lie with two truths:
- You are not alone in the fear.
- You are not meant to carry it by strength.
A practical 3-minute prayer template for anxious moments:
- “God, I am overwhelmed by __.”
- “I submit this fear into Your hands.”
- “Show me the one action that honors You this hour.”
